Ends on March 15, 2018

Rappahannock Review, a literary magazine based at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, invites submissions for its summer theme issue: COSMOS, due out in Summer 2018.

All things space, matter, time. Physics, particles, protons, yes. Also, personal cosmos and cosmologies. Atmospheres. Rules of attraction, properties of light. Known and unknown galaxies of thought. Universe, multiverse, megaverse. Go micro or macro. Cosmos has its roots in order and in the world, but the nature of order might lead to chaos, radiation, flares. We invite you to consider the nature of state changes, space-time, gravity wells. Unravel string theory. Explore light, sun, stars, dark matter, black holes. Planets, moons, movements, orbits, odysseys. Voyagers. And beyond.

We will accept submissions for this theme issue until March 15, 2018. Any submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.

We accept simultaneous submissions, however, please notify us immediately upon acceptance of your work elsewhere.
